today's a fulfilling day!
i'm tired but i'm blessedly so.
(if there's such a thing as being blessedly tired lol.)
initially this morning i was damn tired cos i slept like 5 hrs in total only..
wahahah
then i drank coffee and managed to stay awake for the activities this afternoon!
today's event was fun!
actually i was quite confused by the groupings and all cos my group had like 10 members while mar's had 5?
lol
then i realised tt some of the members in my group, which is the kiddies group, dun belong there..
haha heng man cos the bigger children are harder to discipline XP
then there's this child who looks like wang ren fu from 5566!
LOL and even ttj agrees!! wahahahahah
actually we managed to see lots of lookalikes in the children
wahahahha esp the pri 5/6 performing girls!!
wahahahah
we saw june yang (as identified by mar!) XD
the first game's capt's ball which was the best game of all!!
cos i get to see jaeyan smile and to play with him!!!
at first they say to split the kiddies group into 2 to versus each other.
then i got confused and dno which grp has who
but apparently the kids knew each other v well
and they kept shouting 'i'm from your group!'
but hardly anyone fell for it! LOL
then at the start of the game, i saw jaeyan there, groupless.
then me, the kind soul, went to find him a group!
which, DUH, is my group!
wahhahahah actually i asked him which group he wanna join but the game was starting so i just say, join my group la LOL!
WAHAHAHHAHAH
then i stayed behind him trying to get him to participate more actively in the game.
he suddenly said he's v cold and ran off to the storage place.
i was like ????? i thought he went off to cry or sth, that no one wanna play with him
then i realised tt he just went to get his jacket wahhaha
i think too much..
throughout the game abit i was trying to catch the ball, which NVR came my way -.-
i'm a kid at heart hahahaha
then it's only when jaeyan became the capt then he got v active and i finally touched the ball

but i missed.. i hit jaeyan's head instead.. XP
but he managed to catch 2 goals without any interference from me
hahah i'll only yue bang yue mang..
then the other sports not as fun cos no interaction with jaeyan!!

then by the time we're playing foosball, more than half the children were hungry
and jerome came to ask me all sorts of qns concerning my v nice, v green and red braces!
his main qns are is it painful?, can you remove it? and how much is the braces?
lol esp the 2nd one..
he tried to touch my braces, thinking tt maybe it will drop off when he touched it
hahahahaha -.-

then during the teabreak, he came and sat beside me and started asking the same qns..
then i think he had been eyeing my root beer for awhile, he started asking if we could share the cup.
-.- i said no but he forcefully drank from it! i was so shocked!!
and ttj the nagger 'came to my rescue'!!

hahah she started nagging and saying stuff like 'you shldn't share drink bcos everyone has germs and germs cannot be shared' or sth lidat.
i totally BAO la and turned away from jerome so he can't tell tt i was laughing like mad.. wahahhahaha!
btw, the teabreak food was damn nice. they said the children are all from underprivileged families but i thought all the food were like catered or specially ordered.
it's either tt or all their parents are experts at making such pro-looking food hahah.
after teabreak was quiz+songs session.
during the quiz, everyone was damn high cos of the nicely-wrapped prizes!
hahah the qns are quite hard, even ttj, mar and i dno the answers to most of the qns!
abit to the children, it's like guess and check, some of the qns came down to only 2 out of 4 options left and the children still got the qn wrong.
LOL
throughout the quiz, ttj stayed close to kok leng whom she has taken a liking to whahahah
while mar and i stayed close to jaeyan.. but he's TAKEN!!

abit he was totally surrounded by facis who were equally jaeyan-phile as mar and i!
they even took pics with him!

overall, today was fun and enjoyable though it's damn tiring..
i'm thinking of going back to help out with admin stuff or give tuition/ABCs(for p1s) lessons but..
it's SO FAR!!
bedok leh! mrt takes abt an hr from hougang to bedok..
will be dead tired laa.. plus next yr is J2 yr.. maybe i'll volunteer with ttj and mar and maybe lynn after A's la.

in the end i ended up eating the buns tt i bought for fun in the afternoon for dinner..

the concert doesn't have as much qi fen as last time.
it's like when the concert started, the middle block is half-filled,
then the 2 sides have some pple sitting on a few rows
and tt's it..
and i think for the first half of the concert,
after every song, there are some pple who rush into audi..

but overall it's quite fun la
ttj missed one song on videogames during which they played a video clip on the various videogames.

adeline flew off to korea today!!! WAAAAA!!
she better buy sth back for me for not telling me she;s flying off!!

tingwei and i went for lunch first since jd's meeting his gf first b4 meeting us.
we ate this omu rice tt's basically egg-wrapped rice
and mine has some mushroom sauce on it and it actually tasted quite nice.
the egg taste is nto tt strong.
i finished it despite not feeling v hungry heh heh.
then we bought tix for ENCHANTED!!!!!! which is a GREAT MOVIE!!!!!
omg omg omg!! mar!!!
i finally understand wad you mean by enchanted being so so so so nice!!
ahahahahahha
it's damn funny and i can imagine lynn laughing her head offwhile disturbing many other members of the audience when watching!

after that i went home while tingwei and jd went to some flea mkt to buy jd's dream polaroid.
eh wait i think it's film not the polaroid..
heng i went home, i heard tt the flea mkt's hot and has some illegal actvities going on..
haahha just pple getting arrested there and pple NEARLY getting con into a part-time job..

my legs are killing me..
as planned, i went to see doctor for backache today.
took an x-ray but the report says there's nth wrong with my spine
then the doctor says it's probly cos i pulled a muscle or sth.
abit after i told the doctor my cca's tkd,
he immediately laughed

no it's more like snigger..
WTH
lol
then he told me it's probly cos someone kicked me or cos i carried heavy stuff
but then i dun rmb pple kicking my back..
if any of you rmb, tell me k cos i wanna noe the reason behind my backache.
he prescribed me some painkillers and a cream to apply for my ache.

bought some damn cute soft toys!!

last fri's tkd prac is damn hiong..
cos 'a certain game' [i shall not be explicit] is there.
WAH made us do the frog jumps!
abit initially i had backache then i squat down i totally cannot jump..
all my 'jumps' are just 'shifts and slides', each time taking like less than a step..
then in the end damn malu,
left me the last one there 'duck walking'

but surprisingly, my thighs din hurt as much as they did the last time.

next week is quite 'exciting' for me

tml i'm going to see a doc regarding my backaches and then go watch the free movie!

class chalet was damn fun!!
haahahahha
i din sleep AT ALL throughout the night!!
it's a new record!! hahaha
improved from my last record of sleeping at 4+ am!
lol
the things tt kept me awake was probly mahjong and jiada/tingwei/ashley's constant talking and joking.
according to tingwei,
we started that round of mahjong at 11pm and it ended at 4am O.o
5 hrs straight of mahjong
hahah though i just mainly sat there and watched them play and gave random comments to jiada and adeline's tiles.
i din play at all to be exact, cos they were all playing with $$!!!
and at tt time i dunno wad 'tai' thing was..
hahaha
heng i din stay behind in the chalet to watch SPOP!
cos i caught the replay ytd night!! hahaah tt was while they were playing mahjong.
we had dinner at burger king where gavin used my phone to take, erms, act cute/cool/gay [with jiada] photos
and they even took one and put as my wallpaper -.-
i was damn shocked when i saw it.. i thought i accidentally took someone else's phone.. diaos..
hahah
i think i probly spent the least among all of us
i asked for a BK fish meal and the person asked 'normal or student meal?'
i replied student then the cost went from $6.25 to $3.95
of cos the fries and drink went from medium to small lol
not tt i minded.. i din finish both in the end
haha.
then we went arcade where we played random games like the one where you hit the things that pop out of holes with this hammer ahahhahah
we took two each and were still damn noob!
adeline, peiwen and i tried ddr twice and the first time we din even finish the first song!!
LOL
then we decided to play soft and got through all the songs.
hahahah though adeline and i took one side with peiwen taking the other side, peiwen still owned us!
no space to move much when 2 pple are standing in such a small space.
hah
we played the basketball thingy too!
lingchen+yize vs tingwei+limyi [i think] vs adeline+me!
and the results are 3rd, 1st and 2nd in tt order
lol
we owned the guys!!
half the guys went to play pool after dinner and tingwei came late, bringing with him a travel mahjong set which saw us through the night LOL.
at the end of the trip,
we went cheers to buy supplies tt would last us through the night
but we din finish everything anw, hhaha.
i should commend those who tried hard to stay up throughout the whole night,
jiada, tingwei, ashley, lingchen and esp adeline and limyi who woke up early tt day for cca which was ltr cancelled
hahahah

i dao-ed all the er parts while the others sniggered and exclaimed over those parts

tingwei accidentally woke me up when returning me lynn's pillow WHICH he STOLE b4 sleeping -.-
i thought he was ga jiao-ing me and trying to wake me up then i really woke up
ZZzz
had cup noodles for breakfast and played mahjong while waiting for pple to go for lunch.
in the end, we decided to leave first since we're planning to leave after lunch anw.
so had lunch at cafe cartel in tampinese mall which was DAMN filling.. even after sharing.. hahah
the mixed grill sauce is nice! and the set lunch is considered quite cheap!
soup+drink+main course+dessert+free flow of bread = $9.50!
lol next time someone's bdae can go there!!

damn tired now, just now went pasar malam shopped awhile and randomly bought a lighter shaped like an ace of spades! ahahah the flame is damn strong..
and i'm going there again ltr! buy bags... HEH HEH

oh my.. i just finished death note..
my heart feels damn heavy now..
waahh
the ending damn sad..
a sudden urge to cry..
for those who dun wanna get spoiled, dun read on..
walao.. light was damn clever in predicting near's thoughts
near nearly fell for it too if not for the mistake on mikami's part!
and heng he did tt or else kira would nvr be caught..
in the end, L still died, i thought he might be revived in some way..
but he din.
the ending song damn sad too..
i saw pre-deathnote light who was still only the genius in sch, not a murderer
as light ran past him, i can tell tt he's v v confused abt how things turned out..
and all these just bcos of some shinigami's boredom..
i've thought abt wad ryuk said b4,
whoever tt has used the notebook b4, will nvr have a happy ending..
and tt's so true,
think abt light, misa who committed suicide after light's death, takada, mikami and other random pple who've used the notebook..
they all died tragically..
only one person who possessed the shinigami eyes but nvr used it to kill -- light's father..
matsuda respected him a lot, i can tell..
and light at tt time, was still unrepentant and not remorseful at all..
i hated him more than anything then.. even more than when L died..
sigh~ so sad..
but later, he probably saw a little truth in near's parting words to him,
or he accepted things as they are and went away peacefully..
the notebook shouldn't have appeared on earth at all.
even if it does, it shouldn't be visible to humans..
it caused so much misery and so many deaths.. it's not even worth it..
many died in vain trying to capture the one person behind all the murders..
the one who was led astray by power of the notebook and by his own warped sense of justice..
just goes to show tt when pple are given more power, they tend to abuse it and be misled by it more than using it to make the world a better place..
the world light wanted to create is a world free of crime, but full of fear.
fear of kira, judgement, death.
kira is just a dictator like those in history, even similar to hitler, who killed jews to 'rid the world of filth' as he called it..
wad crap.

but then the first day is bowling..
suddenly i wished tt it's pool cos i think it's much cheaper..
i'd probably not play much and go back to the chalet first

today went sisterhood outing to jean yip tgt with SISTAS aka da jie, san jie and xiao jie LOL.
adeline and i went first and had our 'makeover'
which consists of:
free makeup, hairdo [-.-], outfit [-.-], lots of shots and one A5-size print of your best shots.
wad they recommend you to go for:
fake eyelashes [$20], eyebrow trimming [$15]+ some skin service [$20]
DIAO. WTH. DAO.
my makeup was DAMN thick compared to adeline's, esp the blush.
according to jd, tt's bcos i'm way darker than her.

fac outing was fun, at least initially.
we went for class outing b4 tt,
bowling and arcade at marina sq!
i got owned at bowling lol
as expected!
ahahahah..
arcade was fun too!
played bishi bashi champ and got owned on the 2nd round
at the dancing rhythm there..
-.- shows my 'talent' at music..
played one song on the drums and got a C for an easy song..

oh! we had lunch at carl's jr.
my first time having it
the fish burger it damn nice!!
at least the fillet is lol
the burger is DAMN BIG
luckily i shared it with adeline.
ben accidentally upsized his meal and he had prob finishing it.
abit the person still asked him if he wanna add an extra piece of patty
on top of his TWO slices of them..
WAHAHAHHA he alr had prob eating the burger.. imagine him eating a THREE-LAYERED burger...

but now like he backed out cos since my name is submitted and i have to do it.

i'll make sure they choose the other couple so i won't embarrass myself

but i had h3 briefing

i manage to escape it today!

OH today
had great fun and was tired by the end of the day.
the showcase was a great improvement from the rehearsal
anything would've been better
LOL
i made a few mistakes like shouting at the wrong kick..
-.- but tt's nth to worry abt,
we're still impressive on the whole.

i learned to cook curry puff, apple and durian strudel, oreo cheesecake, soon kueh, siew mai, durian pudding and fruit tarts!

lots of stuff tt i've learned in such a short time
hope i'll be able to rmb them all
the instructor is v v generous
she gave every one of us a VCD on how to cook various foods featured in each VCD
overall,
it has been great cooking and of cos, eating!

then after lunch adeline called ben choi i think to ask where sam lee is.

HIGH SCHOOL CANTEEN hahah just treat it as some after-lunch exercise..
considering my lack of it these days, it's probably good for me

then saw lee with a grp of frens all chatting happily away
while we waited at the table next to theirs..
was slightly pissed that he's not letting us consult him on time..

cos i knew i will forget to get it back
then he PROMISED tt he'll rmb..
he left it in the council room

but i'm still quite glad tt i got it back
cos all the notes tt mr kwek gave and i copied are all inside
and i was wondering how the hell am i supposed to get tt all back..

feeling tired and happy today
:)
i stayed up till 3+am this morning
just to read Digital Fortress
it's a damn good book!!
it's not like other thick books
as in the front part of the story is not at all boring!
the story is captivating right from the start!!
hahaha
i think one main reason i like this book is that
i like the fact that all the loose ends eventually
ended up nicely as parts of a puzzle
there were many explanations on
the background of some of the technology mentioned in the book
which i felt were interesting and enjoyable to read..
the fact that much of these info are used in the later parts of the book
made the book even more appealing!!
it's a MUST-READ!!!
